The Silver Chase Comes to a Close

The Silver Chase closes Friday, September 18 at 11:00 AM ET — live standings are in the Arena.

The Silver Chase is nearly done. STRATO Odds' first trading competition opened on Friday, September 11 and closes Friday, September 18 at 11:00 AM ET — and after a week of hourly markets on gold, silver, Bitcoin, Ethereum, NVIDIA and the S&P 500, the board is a lot more crowded than it was on day one.

Thank you to everyone who traded it. A prediction market is only as good as the people willing to take the other side, and for seven straight days there was someone on the other side of almost every hour.

Where the standings live

The leaderboard is public and it reads straight from the chain. Check it in the Arena on STRATO Odds — that's the live ranking by USDST fill volume, updating as trades settle. There is no separate scoreboard to take our word for.

If you traded this week, that's where you find out where you landed.

Winners get announced at the closing Space

We'll read out the final top 20 live at the closing X Space on Friday, September 18 at 11:00 AM ET, right as the window shuts. Follow @strato_net so it shows up in your timeline.

Prizes go out after verification — one entry per person, so wallets get checked against the rules before any metal ships. Winners post publicly on X tagging @strato_net, and prizes are sent to the wallet that earned the placement.

What's still on the line

Unchanged from kickoff:

Placement Prize
1st $1,200 of GOLDST
2nd $750 of GOLDST
3rd $500 of GOLDST
4th–20th 1 oz of yieldSILVST each

That's $2,450 of tokenized gold for the podium and 17 oz of tokenized silver for the rest of the field — and the silver keeps earning yield after it lands in your wallet.

There are still hours left

The board does not lock until 11:00 AM ET Friday, which means the hourly markets between now and then still count. Every dollar of fill volume you put on against another participant moves you up. If you're sitting just outside a placement, the last stretch is the cheapest time to close the gap — the field has mostly stopped watching.

Minting and merging complete sets still doesn't count, and the house wallets are still excluded.

What we learned

Two things worth saying out loud.

Hourly markets work. A market that opens and settles inside an hour gives you a clean read on whether you were right, and then hands you another one. Over a week that compounds into a lot of reps — far more than a competition built on a single weekly close would have produced.

Funded books matter. We seeded every market at open and topped them up through the week, and that's the difference between a competition and an empty order book with a prize attached. Where depth was thin, the app said so. We'd rather tell you than let you find out on a fill.

What's next

STRATO Odds keeps running after Friday. The markets don't stop — new ones open hourly on all six assets, around the clock, and settlement still reads the on-chain oracle whether or not there's a leaderboard attached.

The Arena sticks around too, with the all-time leaderboard, quests and the daily board. And this was the first competition, not the last one.
