SILVST Is Now on Ethereum: Bridge Tokenized Silver and Trade It on Uniswap

TL;DR: SILVST is now bridgeable to Ethereum. Move your tokenized silver out of STRATO with a few clicks and it arrives on mainnet as a standard ERC-20 at 0x5925...12c1, tradable on Uniswap against USDC. Same metal, same 1:1 backing, same audits — now reachable from the deepest liquidity venue in crypto.

What changed

Until now, SILVST lived on STRATO. That's where it's minted against physical silver, where it trades against USDST for about a cent a transaction, and where it earns yield. Great if you're already on STRATO — less great if your wallet, your treasury, or your DeFi positions live on Ethereum.

That gap is closed. SILVST now bridges natively to Ethereum mainnet, where it exists as a plain ERC-20 token:

Because it's a standard ERC-20, it works with everything you'd expect it to: MetaMask, Rabby, hardware wallets, multisigs, Safe treasuries, DEX aggregators, portfolio trackers.

The backing doesn't change when the chain does

Bridging moves the token, not the metal. Every SILVST — on STRATO or on Ethereum — is still backed one-to-one by physical silver bars held with our vaulting partner, BA Gold Enterprises Inc., in insured vaults on West 47th Street in New York City.

That backing is verified two ways, monthly:

• Vaulting letters from the custodian confirming the ounces physically held.
• Independent CPA audits of the reserves.

Both are published — you can read the latest precious-metals audit, see how the vaulting process works, or check the running reserve totals on the treasury page. Silver that shows up in your Ethereum wallet is the same silver sitting in a New York vault, and there's a paper trail either way.

How to bridge SILVST to Ethereum

1. Open the STRATO app and go to your dashboard.
2. Head to the bridge / withdraw section and select SILVST.
3. Enter the amount and confirm on STRATO — the transaction costs well under a dollar.
4. Wait ~10–15 minutes for the transfer to be processed.
5. Claim on Ethereum, paying mainnet gas at claim time.

Once it lands, add the contract address to your wallet if it doesn't show up automatically, and you're holding tokenized silver on mainnet.

Bridging back to STRATO works the same way in reverse — and that's the direction you'll want when you're ready to put the metal to work.

Why you might want it on Ethereum

Composability. Ethereum is where the rest of DeFi is. An ERC-20 that represents a troy ounce of vaulted silver can sit in a Safe, be used as collateral where supported, be swapped through any aggregator, or be held alongside the rest of an on-chain portfolio without a second account.

Liquidity and price discovery. SILVST trades on Uniswap against USDC. Anyone with an Ethereum wallet can buy exposure to physical silver without onboarding anywhere first — no dealer, no shipping, no minimum bar size.

Custody flexibility. Hold it in your own hardware wallet or a multisig on the chain your organization already uses.

Why you might want it back on STRATO

Ethereum is a great place to hold silver. STRATO is where it does something.

• Yield. SILVST deposited into STRATO vaults earns returns generated by real on-chain liquidity strategies, not token emissions.
• Cost. Transactions on STRATO run about a cent. On Ethereum, a swap can cost more than the spread on a small position.
